The Technical and Vocational Administration signed 20 different Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth $1.8 million with domestic organizations.
Fazl-ur-Rahman Fazel, Deputy Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVET-A), stated that they will implement different development projects in the county’s five provinces which will be funded by the United Nations Development Program.
According to Fazel, the Authority will also sign other agreements worth $700,000 with domestic organizations in the near future.
“The total cost of these projects is $2.5 million, of which contracts worth $1.8 million are being signed with 20 organizations today,” he added.
Fazl-ur-Rahman Fazel also mentioned that the administration has established 166 short-term technical and vocational training centers across the country, providing educational opportunities for more than 3,800 individuals.
According to him, “166 short-term technical and vocational centers have been activated across the country, offering necessary training to 3,891 individuals. This educational network, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, continues to provide rights to prisoners nationwide.”
According to officials of the Technical and Vocational Education Administration, with the signing of these agreements, development projects will be implemented in Bamyan, Khost, Helmand, Daikundi, and Kandahar provinces.
