The crucial Z-Morh tunnel that connects Gagangir and Sonamarg on the Srinagar-Leh highway will be inaugurated next month according to Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. Speaking at Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) Annual Day 2023, he said nine tunnels are being built between Jammu and Srinagar and that Asia’s longest tunnel at Zoji La will also be ready in 2024.
“Around 70% of the work at the Zoji La tunnel has been completed.
