In Noshki, a protest rally organized by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and the family of missing teacher Farid Ahmed Badini was held, starting from Mir Gul Khan Nasir Library and concluding at the Noshki Press Club after passing through Nawab Akbar Bugti Road.
Participants, including women, children, youth, and members of political parties, chanted slogans demanding the recovery of Farid Ahmed Badini and other missing persons.
The rally featured speeches by Farid Ahmed’s daughter Lubana Badini, Bibarg Baloch, Maheen Baloch, Comrade Amin Baloch, National Party’s Farooq Baloch, BNP’s Mir Khursheed Jamaldini, Maulana Zakaria Adil, GTA’s Zahir Baloch, Mushtaq Baloch, Mah Parah Baloch, and others.
Speakers expressed concern over the rising number of enforced disappearances in Balochistan and demanded the immediate recovery of Farid Ahmed. They highlighted that as an educator and builder of society, Farid is not safe in Balochistan. Suffering from heart disease and high blood pressure, his one-month-long disappearance has caused his family immense distress regarding his well-being.
They warned that if Farid Ahmed is not recovered within a week, they would stage an indefinite sit-in on the national highway.
