Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir is furious after the embarrassment at the hands of the Baloch Liberation Army during the train hijack in Balochistan. General Munir stressed on making Pakistan a ‘strict country’. He said that the war against extremism is to save the existence of the country. The Pakistani Army Chief lashed out at Pakistan’s Shahbaz government during a high-level meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security. He asked PM Shahbaz Sharif to improve governance. He said that people are losing their lives due to not being a strict country. Munir questioned how long this gap in governance will continue to be filled with the blood of the Pakistani Army and its soldiers.
The head of the Pakistani army reprimanded the Shahbaz government and the provincial government in front of the parliamentary committee after the fierce train attack by the Balochs. The Balochs claim that more than 100 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in this attack. This attack was carried out by the Majid Brigade of the Baloch Liberation Army. This meeting was called by the Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq. From PM Shahbaz Sharif to the top leaders of most parties were present in it. Imran Khan’s party PTI boycotted it. General Munir said that the fight against extremism is to save the existence of us and our future generations.
