In response to the recent statements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on Afghanistan’s caretaker government to address its internal challenges.

The spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Islamic Emirate should be accountable to the demands of its people, including the right to education for women and girls.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “The statement constitutes an unacceptable and deplorable interference in the domestic affairs of Pakistan.

The Afghan interim government should focus on fixing its own domestic problems; prioritize inclusivity; and be responsive to needs and aspirations of its own people including the right to education for women and girls.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate had expressed concern on Sunday over the tensions between the Pakistani government and political opposition, saying that this situation would have negative effects on the entire region.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, said: “We are closely monitoring the situation in Pakistan and hope that the government and influential institutions in Pakistan will address the growing dissatisfaction with reasonable and realistic actions.”

Aziz Stanekzai, a military affairs expert, commented on the impact of tensions in Pakistan, stating: “This situation has negative effects on Afghanistan, India, China, and Iran. When war and insecurity arise in one country, it brings about bad consequences.”

Hamidullah Hotak, a political analyst, told : “The Afghan government raised its voice both for its own people and in Pakistan’s interest, asking them to heed the people’s demands and resolve the challenges through dialogue.”

For several days now, supporters and members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan, have begun protests, demanding Imran Khan’s release and the implementation of the country’s constitution.
