The 3-day Jammu Division Karate Championship 2023, organized by the Japan Shotokan Karate-Do Kanninjuku organization J&K and powered by Nat Manch & Leo Martial Arts Academy, came to a thrilling end at Cybernetic Secondary School in Jammu. The championship witnessed the participation of more than 200 talented martial artists.

The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed personalities, including Tarun Sharma, Son of Soil, renowned actor, director, President of Nat Manch & Japan Shotokan Karate-Do Kanninjuku Organization J&K, Youth President of Shri Bhagwan Parshuram Trust J&K, and Incharge Cultural Cell BJYM J&K, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion. The event also saw the presence of Er. Palvi Sharma, an international Karate player and the first National Gold Medalist, as well as Amardeep Sharma, Chairman of Cybernetic Secondary School, and Preeti Sharma, Director of Cybernetic Secondary School, who were the guests of honor.

Ganesh Gupta, the Style Chief of Japan Shotokan Karate-Do Kanninjuku Organization J&K, provided his expert supervision throughout the championship, ensuring its smooth execution. The bouts were skillfully conducted by officials including Shashi Janotra, Vinay Babaar, Rinku Sharma, Amit Sudan, Tushant, Chaya, Gurnam Kour, and several others.

Addressing the young participants, Tarun Sharma encouraged them to pursue the sport with dedication and emphasized the importance of hard work to achieve excellence in the field of sports. He also commended the efforts of the UT government in boosting sports in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciating their commitment to promoting athleticism in the region.
