The leader of the Islamic Emirate, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, has issued a new decree prohibiting the use of government buildings for personal purposes. He has mandated that all individuals residing in government premises must vacate and relocate elsewhere.
The deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that this decree will be strictly enforced across both the central and provincial regions.
“Government institutions, ministries, and properties should not be used for personal purposes. Anyone living in such places must be moved and summoned,” said Hamidullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate.
Meanwhile, some experts assert that this decree should be taken seriously and government properties should not be used for personal objectives.
Moeen Gul Samkani, a political analyst, told TOLOnews: “We hope that this decree and similar ones will be evaluated and implemented to ultimately achieve positive outcomes.”
Salim Paigir, another political analyst, stated: “The decree from the leader of the Islamic Emirate must be enforced, and government buildings should be taken out of the hands of individuals and their families and put in the service of the public.”
On the other hand, some citizens say that distinguishing between government buildings and residential properties has become difficult for them.
Munir Zadran, a resident of Kabul, said: “This is a good decree because we need to know whether a building is government-owned or private.”
Since the Islamic Emirate regained power, approximately two million hectares of seized land have been reclaimed from usurpers across the country, and this process is ongoing.
