Syed Salahuddin on Kashmir Issue

Chairman of the United Jihad Council and head of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Syed Salahuddin, said that the expression of solidarity with the Kashmiris by the people of Pakistan had significantly reduced the sense of isolation. However, only practical steps can force oppressive India to read the writing on the wall.

Addressing a high-level meeting of the Muttahida Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin said that the exemplary expression of solidarity had reduced the feeling of loneliness but demonstrations, resolutions, and conferences had not reduced the atrocities against Kashmiris. He said that even the international community could not be attracted to Kashmir through these events. Syed Salahuddin is a great hero of the independence movement of occupied Kashmir. He is right what he has said about Kashmir

The Kashmir issue has been on the world stage since the formation of Pakistan. Pakistan has fought many wars with India on this issue. But the fact is that the ruling class of Pakistan has done nothing but paid lip service to the Kashmir issue. Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed once said in a meeting that he had visited some Muslim countries to highlight the Kashmir issue and he was surprised to know that the leadership of many Muslim countries were not aware of the Kashmir issue.

In other words, the ruling class of Pakistan has not done anything to raise awareness about the Kashmir issue. What if today at least Muslim countries would have raised their voices regarding the Kashmir issue? Muslim countries are allies of Pakistan in terms of religion, civilization and history, but the bitter truth is that due to India’s successful diplomacy, many Muslim countries have become closer to India than Pakistan. Some fault maybe with the leaders of these countries in this regard, but unfortunately the ruling class of Pakistan has also done nothing to influence the Muslim countries.

One of the problems of Pakistan’s ruling class is that it has never given India a real fear of jihad and resistance. Of course, the survival and security of Pakistan are very important, but there is a need to inflict India with the issue of its survival and security. It should be told that if it does not resolve the Kashmir issue, all the dreams it has may be shattered. The day India faces the question of its own survival and security, it will come to its senses. But the ruling class of Pakistan has to show courage to challenge India.
