Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared four individuals in separate incidents across Balochistan’s Mashkay, Quetta, and Barkhan regions.
In the Awaran district, Nabi Dad, son of Ibrahim, a resident of Pirandar, and Mahmood, son of Zulfiqar, a resident of Malshband, were reportedly taken during late-night raids in the Meeni neighborhood of Mashkay. Witnesses said several individuals were detained during the raids, but most were later released, except for the two men.
In Quetta, Abrar Baloch was allegedly taken into custody during a midnight raid in the Killi Qambarani area. His whereabouts remain unknown.
Meanwhile, in the Rakhni area of Barkhan, Abdul Samad was reportedly abducted 14 days ago by Pakistani forces. According to his brother, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) detained him and transferred him to an unknown location.
“This has been an extremely difficult and terrifying experience for me. Thirteen days of uncertainty, fear, and waiting to know when my brother will return have passed,” his brother said.
He appealed to humanitarian organizations, stating, “My brother’s disappearance has left a void in our family’s life. I urge all humanitarian organizations to raise their voices for my brother’s safe return and make every effort to ensure his release.”
