- Raffaella Iodice, the EU chargé d’affaires to Afghanistan, discussed the conclusion of her mission in a meeting with Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- Iodice said that with the conclusion of this mission, she will travel to Doha to engage in talks with various embassies and will also hold discussions with European Union officials in Brussels regarding Afghanistan.
- Veronika Bošković-Pohar is expected to serve as the new Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union Delegation to Afghanistan.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said: “While emphasizing the continuation of cooperation with Afghanistan from Brussels, especially with the new head of the European Union in Foreign Policy and Security Affairs, she also announced the appointment of Ms. Veronika Bošković-Pohar as the new Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union in Kabul.”

- Meanwhile, the EU Chargé d’Affaires, in a meeting with the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister, pledged the continuation of the European Union’s cooperation with Afghanistan and stated that the EU is striving to implement the commitments made during the third Doha meeting.
- Hamdullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, regarding the meeting between Raffaella Iodice and Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said: “She mentioned that the stance of the Islamic Emirate is based on mutual interaction and respect, and added that the Islamic Emirate has fulfilled all its commitments to the world, and currently, the cultivation of narcotics has reached zero.”
