The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks in Balochistan, targeting a military camp in Kharan and killing a “state informant” in Quetta.

In a statement released on Monday, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the group’s fighters attacked a Pakistani military camp in the Albat area of Kharan on Sunday night. He said rockets and other heavy weapons were used in the assault.

“One enemy personnel was killed on the spot when a rocket hit the security post,” the spokesperson said. The BLA also claimed further casualties and material damage were inflicted on the military.

In a separate attack in Quetta, the BLA said it killed an alleged state informant near Killi Ibrahimzai on Brewery Road. The deceased, identified as Mujahid from Bahawalpur, Punjab, had allegedly been working as an informant for the military while operating a barber shop.

The BLA claimed that the shop was being used as a hideout for agents working with security forces and intelligence agencies. “Mujahid was shot dead tonight,” the statement said.
