At approximately 3 a.m. on 25 April 2025, Pakistani security forces allegedly conducted a raid in the Bustan area of Tump, Balochistan, during which two underage boys were reportedly forcibly disappeared.

The missing boys have been identified as Shameem, son of Ghaffar, aged 10, and Arif, son of Rasool Bakhsh, aged 15.

According to local sources, during the raid, security personnel allegedly subjected family members to violence and issued severe threats before taking the boys into custody. Relatives claim they were explicitly warned to remain silent and to refrain from contacting anyone, under the threat of serious consequences.

The families of the missing boys have demanded their immediate and safe recovery.

Incidents of enforced disappearances in Balochistan have been frequently reported over the years. Numerous children and elderly individuals have previously gone missing under similar circumstances.

Baloch social and political groups have long protested against enforced disappearances, staging demonstrations not only across Balochistan but also in Islamabad and other cities in Pakistan.
