Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared six individuals in the districts of Kech, Kharan, and Dera Bugti in Balochistan.
In Kech, a raid was conducted on a local market in the Dasht Kadan area on Tuesday. Three young men were reportedly taken by Pakistani forces.
The men have been identified as Ismail, a shopkeeper from Balnigor and son of Ishaq; Imran, a student and son of Sattar; and Dr. Liaquat Ali, a resident of Dasht.
Local sources said the men were on their way to Kadan to attend a poetry event in memory of Mubarak Qazi.
Dr. Liaquat Ali was reportedly taken in a separate raid in Dasht Muskar on the same morning.
The disappearances follow a recent attack on an FC camp in the area. Since the attack, forces have launched an operation that has reportedly led to multiple disappearances.
On the previous day, two other individuals, identified as Talal, son of Umar, and Amir Baloch, son of Ibrahim, were reportedly detained from Kadan and remain missing.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan’s Kharan district, Pakistani forces reportedly detained and disappeared another individual.The missing person, identified as Waseem, son of Saeed Ahmed, was reportedly taken from his shop on Kharan Gawash Road at noon on Sunday and remains missing.
Separately, in Dera Bugti, two more disappearances have been reported.
On Sunday, Zafar Ahmed, son of Atta Muhammad Bugti, was reportedly taken from outside the Bhagia Hotel on Main Road.
Ahmed Ali, son of Faiz Ali Bugti, was reportedly forcibly disappeared from Dera Bugti city on Monday morning.
