Dr. Mahrang Baloch, the of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, marked International Women’s Day by expressing solidarity with women worldwide who are fighting against oppression and striving for justice, identity, dignity, and freedom — the right to live in peace, speak without fear, and be treated as equals.
Dr. Mahrang Baloch, who has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, stated that from Balochistan to every corner of the world, the voices of Baloch women cannot be silenced, nor can their struggle be ignored. Baloch women will continue to rise against “oppression.” The brave mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives of Baloch missing persons are leading the fearless fight against enforced disappearances, custodial killings, and the right to live with dignity — not only in Balochistan but globally, Dr. Baloch said.
Dr. Mahrang expressed her firm belief that the unwavering determination of Baloch women will one day contribute to ending enforced disappearances everywhere. She emphasized that March 8 is not just a day but a reminder of an ongoing struggle for justice.
She urged humanitarians and advocates of justice worldwide to stand in solidarity with Baloch women in their fight against “oppression.”ah
Dr. Mahrang paid heartfelt tribute to all women, especially the courageous and fearless Baloch women, whose resilience and determination continue to illuminate the path to freedom.
