A student from Koh-e-Sulaiman, Jameel Baloch, was reportedly abducted by personnel of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies from Sultan Town, Lahore, on Sunday night.

According to sources, Jameel’s sudden disappearance has raised concerns among human rights activists and local communities, with many questioning the continued practice of enforced disappearances in Pakistan. His family has called for his immediate release, urging authorities to disclose his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, in Balochistan’s Kech district, a missing youth identified as Balaach Hasil has been released. Balach, a resident of Turbat’s Hootabad area, was previously reported as abducted by Pakistani forces. His release has brought temporary relief to his family, though activists highlight that cases like his remain all too common in the region.

The practice of enforced disappearances has long been a contentious issue in Balochistan, with many families left searching for answers about their loved ones. Rights organizations continue to demand accountability and transparency from authorities regarding such incidents.
