Baloch “pro-independence” groups targeted Pakistani security forces in separate attacks in Balochistan’s Turbat, Panjgoor, and Gwadar, according to sources. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for two attacks on alleged “facilitators” of the Pakistani security forces in Turbat and Panjgoor, resulting in two deaths. The BLA alleged that the targeted individuals were involved in espionage and warned that anyone involved in such activities would face severe punishment.

In Turbat, the BLA claimed responsibility for the killing of Muhammad Aftab, who they accused of spying on Baloch “pro-independence” fighters. In Panjgoor, the group claimed responsibility for the death of Nazeer Ahmad s/o Behram, whom they accused of blackmailing locals at the behest of Pakistani security forces and extorting money from vehicles on the CPEC route.

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), another “pro-independence” group, targeted a trailer carrying wheat from Gwadar to Punjab. The group claimed to have used a lesser intensity bomb intentionally to avoid harming civilians. The BLF alleged that despite the Pakistani security forces’ efforts to protect trucks transporting goods from the Gwadar Port, their fighters were successful in attacking and heavily damaging the trailer.
