Afghanistan’s national bodybuilding and fitness team concluded their participation in the World Championships in the Maldives by winning seven medals, including gold, silver, and bronze.
The Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation announced that Afghan athletes competed against their opponents on stage this Sunday and ultimately secured three bronze medals.
In these competitions, Alireza Asahi, who had previously won a gold medal, earned a bronze in bodybuilding, Mohammad Ayub Azimi also won a bronze, and Abdul Halim took bronze in the athletic physique category.
Earlier, Hamidullah Omari, Nasibullah Azimi, and Hamidullah Khoshdil had won silver and bronze medals, bringing further recognition to Afghanistan in this global event.
The 15th World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, hosted by the Maldives, featured Afghanistan’s national team among the participants.
Ali Reza Asahi won one gold and one bronze medal.
Hamidullah Omari won a silver medal.
Mohammad Ayub Azimi won a bronze medal.
Abdul Halim won a bronze medal.
Nasibullah Azimi won a bronze medal.
Hamidullah Khushdel won a bronze medal.
