The body of a forcibly disappeared youth has been recovered in Balochistan’s Turbat district, marking the third such discovery in the region within 24 hours.

The victim was identified as Sher Khan Nazar, a resident of Pasni, who was forcibly disappeared from the Jusak area of Turbat on 15 April. His disappearance had earlier been highlighted by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), a group documenting enforced disappearances in the region.

Local sources said Sher Khan’s body showed signs of torture. His remains were found on Wednesday and handed over to his family.

A day earlier, the body of a minor boy, identified as Nizam, son of Mahmood, was recovered from the Pasni tehsil of Gwadar district. He had allegedly been detained by Pakistani intelligence agencies on 12 April and remained missing for several days before his body was found.

In another incident, a body recovered in the Naal area of Khuzdar was identified as Farooq Ahmed, the son of Noor Ahmed Mengal, the district vice president of the Balochistan National Party (BNP). Farooq had reportedly been forcibly disappeared on 14 April.
