Two brothers have reportedly been detained by Pakistani forces in the Kech district of Balochistan and shifted to an undisclosed location.
According to reports, Pakistani forces allegedly forcibly disappeared two brothers, identified as Shahnawaz, and Abdul Khaliq, sons of Haji Allah Bakhsh. The two, residents of Paroom tehsil in Panjgur, were arrested in the Hoshab area of Kech on February 1 of this year.
Their family members have expressed deep concern, as their whereabouts remain unknown to this day. They have urged authorities for the safe recovery of both young men.
It is important to note that enforced disappearances are not uncommon in Balochistan and continue to rise daily. Families of the disappeared individuals persistently protest, march, and hold sit-in camps, demanding the safe return of their loved ones. However, despite these efforts, cases of enforced disappearances continue to emerge at an alarming rate.
