Cases of the enforced disappearance of four more individuals have been reported from various regions of Balochistan.
According to reports, on 30 January 2025, Muhammad Iqbal, son of Haji Mir Khan, and Zakir Yaqoob, residents of Kodask, Khuzdar district, were forcibly disappeared after being taken into extrajudicial custody by Pakistani forces at a checkpoint on the Panjgur Bypass.
Both individuals were involved in the oil trade and were transporting oil in their vehicle at the time. The forces also seized their vehicle along with the oil.
In Bugti Colony, located in the Sui Tehsil of Dera Bugti district, Bago, son of Braham Bugti, was reportedly forcibly disappeared in broad daylight by security personnel.
Meanwhile, on 29 January 2025, Shakloon Bugti was forcibly disappeared allegedly by Frontier Corps personnel in the Chattar area of Naseerabad.
In a related development, Balochi artist Nari Gulab, who had been reportedly forcibly disappeared from Rakhni, has been recovered.
Furthermore, Feroz Khan, son of Haji Musa Khan Barech, a footballer who had been missing from Nushki district, has returned home to Gharibabad after four months. His recovery has brought immense joy to his family and relatives.
