An exhibition titled “Victory and Afghanistan’s Economic Achievements” has been held in Kabul for four days.

Participants have displayed their products in 310 booths at this exhibition.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce considers the exhibition beneficial for introducing and marketing domestic products and has urged the citizens to support the country’s economic growth by using local products.

Zubair Deen Parwar, the head of Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, has asked investors operating abroad to transfer their assets to Afghanistan.

Deen Parwar said: “I tell friends who are abroad or inside the country, that security across Afghanistan is ensured, and the investment environment is available. Come and invest in Afghanistan and live peacefully in your own country.”

The Chamber of Commerce and Investment also said that with the support of the private sector, exports have increased, and imports have decreased.

Mohammad Younus Mohmand the first deputy of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment said: “Afghanistan is positioned for special progress, and our exports to the world have significantly increased.”

At the same time, the Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock emphasized that for the country’s economic growth and development, there is a need to support the agricultural sector in Afghanistan and increase the export of agricultural products.

Khan Mohammad Frotan, the head of the Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock, said: “Supporting the private sector and livestock can play a role in economic development, high employment levels, and food security, and there must be joint efforts in this regard.”

In the Victory and Economic Achievements Exhibition, which is set to continue for four days, 150 booths are dedicated to handicrafts.
