The spokesperson for the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) stated that the government delegation has accepted the protest’s demands. The protest will end tonight after these demands are implemented.

The spokesperson explained that the demands include the release of all participants of the Baloch Raaji Muchi who have been arrested or forcibly disappeared. All FIRs (First Information Reports) against participants will be withdrawn. However, if FIRs regarding those martyred or injured during the Raaji Muchi are not filed against state institutions, the BYC reserves the right to pursue legal action.

Additionally, compensation will be provided for all financial losses suffered by the public during the Raaji Muchi. The Balochistan Home Department will issue a notification stating that no force will be used against any peaceful gathering.

One of the demands is that the government will not harass any citizens, including BYC members, nor will it file any illegal FIRs. All roads in Gwadar and Makran will be reopened, and network services will be restored.

The spokesperson emphasized that even though the state has made a written agreement with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee and announced the formation of a committee to ensure implementation of all points in the agreement, the BYC will continue its struggle if any single point is not fulfilled. The state martyred three of our youth and injured many others during the Baloch Raaji Muchi. If FIRs are not filed against the state institutions for our martyred and injured youth, we will intensify and organize our political struggle.

The spokesperson added that the Baloch Raaji Muchi was a one-day national gathering, which the state turned into a prolonged protest through the use of force and violence. Today, all of Balochistan is protesting. The Baloch people have demonstrated their political power and forced the state to concede to the public’s demands through their unity and solidarity. This success is due to the awareness, unity, and sacrifices of the Baloch people. However, we believe this is just the first step in our struggle. We must engage in a long and organized struggle to completely eliminate all forms of oppression and tyranny, including the genocide of Baloch people on Baloch land. For this, we need to promote unity and solidarity among ourselves. We must organize the Baloch people from Koh-e-Suleman to Sistan, eradicate all forces dividing the Baloch nation, and prepare ourselves mentally and intellectually for a systematic struggle.

They further stated that after the implementation of the demands from the negotiations tonight, the protest will end, and tomorrow morning there will be a Raaji Sogand assembly in Gwadar. Following this, the caravan will march towards Turbat. After holding a gathering in Turbat, the caravan will announce its future course of actions.
