Six Pakistani soldiers have reportedly been killed and five injured in a series of attacks claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in various areas of Balochistan.

In a media statement, BLF spokesperson Major Gohram Baloch said their fighters targeted Pakistani military outposts and convoys in four separate attacks in Panjgur, Kolwah, and Tump.

He said that on Monday, BLF fighters ambushed a convoy of four motorcycles in the Rodkan area of Kolwah, Kech, killing one soldier and injuring another.

“On July 20, at 5 PM, our fighters attacked a military outpost in Kark Dal, Panjgur, killing one soldier with a sniper shot,” Major Baloch said. “They then used automatic weapons to kill another soldier and injure one more.”

He added, “On Sunday night at 8:50 PM, our fighters attacked a military outpost in Pull Abad, Tump, with automatic weapons, killing one Pakistani soldier and injuring two others.”

“In a separate attack, at 9 PM the same night, our fighters targeted a military outpost in Malant, Tump, killing two soldiers and injuring one,” he said.

The BLF spokesperson said that following the Tump attack, state agents allegedly raided civilian populations in the area.

Major Gohram Baloch described the BLF as a people’s army with the goal of achieving Balochistan’s independence. “With public support, we have defeated Pakistani forces on many fronts and will continue to retaliate against the atrocities committed against the Baloch nation,” he stated.
