Residents of Buleda in the Kech district of Balochistan protested against what they describe as indiscriminate and unwarranted firing by Pakistani forces late at night.

According to local sources, the Frontier Corps (FC) has been carrying out a continuous series of unjustified nightly shootings in the Gilli area of Buleda for several days.

In response, residents gathered on Sunday to protest in front of the FC camp in Gilli. They claimed that FC personnel threatened them and mistreated women and children during the protest. Protesters said the FC’s actions have created a climate of fear and tension in their area.

It is worth noting that across Balochistan, Pakistani forces have set up numerous checkpoints and camps within civilian areas. Nationalists have also recorded protests against the establishment of these checkpoints in populated areas.
