The highly anticipated annual AmarnathYatra in Kashmir is poised to begin on June 29th this year, spanning 50 days until August 19th. ShriAmarnath Shrine Board (SASB) has announced that devotees can initiate their registration process online starting from Monday, with registration available via the official SASB website https://jksasb.nic.in and the dedicated mobile application.
This revered pilgrimage, which draws millions of devotees from across the nation, offers the opportunity to pay homage to the holy Shivlingam via the scenic routes of Pahalgam and Baltal. In an effort to enhance accessibility, the board has ensured that both morning and evening Aarticeremonies from the holy cave will be broadcasted live, allowing devotees to participate virtually through the website and app.
To ensure the safety and security of pilgrims, thousands of paramilitary personnel have been deployed along the routes, particularly in key areas such as the Jammu-Srinagar highway, Pahalgam, Srinagar, and Ganderbal. Moreover, significant infrastructure improvements have been made, including the construction of a robust pathway from Baltal to Amarnath, facilitating easier access for pilgrims to reach the sacred site.
With meticulous planning and stringent security measures in place, authorities are committed to ensuring a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling experience for all participants in the upcoming AmarnathYatra.
