We take a look at the growth of the number of higher education institutes like IIM, AIIMS, and IIT in the last 9 years.
Our Nagpur correspondent reports that by creating an educational hub in the sub-capital of Maharashtra Nagpur, the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established premier education institutes like the Indian Institute of Management-IIM, All India Institute of Medical Sciences-AIIMS and Indian Institute of Information Technology- Triple IT in Nagpur.
The foundation stone for AIIMS was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the MIHAN area on 14th April 2017 while the campus of this institute was dedicated to the nation on 11 December of last year by PM Modi himself. IIM Nagpur also started its journey in the year 2015 it’s Foundation stone was also laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mihan. The Indian Institute of Information Technology is also operational on Wardha Road in Nagpur.
While laying the foundation stone of these 3 institutes PM said, Besides these institutes, Maharashtra National Law University Government College of Engineering is also giving higher education in the field of law and Engineering to the students of Nagpur and adjoining cities.
The growth of such higher education institutes in the last 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’S tenure is creating a skilled human resource from top institutes and bringing a social transformation in the backward region like Vidarbha.
